Hola!! Ya estoy de vuelta por aquí de nuevo!! Después de unas semanas de ausencia, vuelvo con lo prometido. ¿Recordáis que os comenté que en mi próximo post os iba a enseñar diseños de bisutería hecha con delicas? Como lo prometido es deuda, aquí lo tenéis.

Hello! I’m back here again!! After a few weeks of absense, I come back with what I promised you. Do you remember that I told you that in the next post I was going to show you some jewelry designs made out of delicas? A promise is a promise and here it is.

Este primer anillo es el que le regalé a mi madre por Papa Noel. Lo particular de este anillo, como podréis ver a continuación, es esa especie de “nudo” que une los dos extremos realizados en color negro y dorado.

This first ring is the one I gave to my mum as Santa Claus’ present. The particular thing about this ring, as you’ll see below, is this kind of “knot” that links the two ends made in black and gold.

Este segundo anillo me lo hice para mí misma después de ver una foto de uno parecido que me inspiró. Combinando los colores negro y plateado, lo especial de este anillo es el cruce de las tiras de ambos colores.

This second ring I made it fot myself after seeing a picture of a similar ring that inspired me. Combining black and silver colors, the special thing about this ring is the intersection of both colors strips .

Y para finalizar os quiero mostrar un modelo de monedero cubo que todavía no habíais visto. Se trata de un monedero cubo personalizado con fotografías cuyas medidas son 8 x 8 x 8 cm. Como ya os comenté tanto las medidas como el diseño son totalmente personalizables.

And finally, I want to show you a cube purse model that I think you have not seen yet. It is a cube purse customized with pictures whose sizes are 8 x 8 x 8 cm. As I already told you, both, the measures and the desing, are completely customizable.

Feliz Año Nuevo/Happy New Year

Feliz año nuevo!! ¿Ya tenéis listos los propósitos para este año que empieza? Yo sí y es por eso por lo que hoy, día 1 de enero de 2014, escribo este post, para empezar el año trabajando. Hace más de un mes que un amigo que pasa una gran parte de su tiempo en Xàtiva, volvió a EEUU para reunirse con su familia. Es probable que no lo recordéis pero en Noviembre os enseñé un pequeño avance  de un pedido muy especial que me había encargado este amigo del que os estoy hablando. El pedido iba dirigido hacia su hija menor, y no os lo pude enseñar porque era su regalo de Navidad. Así que, habiendo dejado pasar un tiempo prudencial para asegurarme de que no le estropeaba la sorpresa, ha llegado el día de que os lo enseñe a todos vosotros.

Happy New Year!! Do you have ready your new year resolutions? I do and that’s why today, January, 1st 2014, I write this post, to start the year working. It’s been over a month now that a friend of mine, who spends most of his time in Xàtiva, came back to US to join with his family. It’s probable that you don’t remember it, but in November I showed you a little preview of a very special order made by this friend that I am talking about. The order was adressed to his younger daughter and, I couldn’t show it to you because it was her Christmas present. So, having let enough time go by to assure myself that I didn’t spoil her surprise, today is the day to show the result to you all.

El pedido se componía de un monedero y neceser/cartera multicolor con cremallera en color verde fluor/neon. No se me había ocurrido nunca combinarlo con ese color de cremallera pero la verdad es que resulta muy llamativo. No os entretengo más, aquí teneis las fotos. Espero que os guste.

The order consisted of a colorful candy wrapper coin purse and a wallet, both of them with a green neon zipper. It never came to my mind to combine it with that zipper color but the truth is that it attracts attention. I don't keep you any longer, here you have the pictures. I hope you like it.

En el siguiente post, para variar un poco, os enseñaré dos anillos, hechos con delicas, que he hecho estas navidades como regalo para mi madre.

In the next post, to vary a bit, I will show two rings, made ​​with delica, I've done this Christmas as a gift for my mother.

El retorno/The return

Hola!! Después de dos semanas de ausencia, aquí estoy de nuevo!! ¿Me habéis echado de menos? Espero que sí...yo la verdad es que sí que he echado de menos escribir en el blog. Después del duro trabajo realizado para finalizar la colección de Edición Limitada, necesitaba un descanso para inspirarme y regresar con nuevas ideas.

Hello! After two weeks of absence, here I am again! Did you miss me? I hope so...to be honest I've missed writing on the blog. After all the hard work to finish the Limited Edition Collection, I needed a break to inspire myself and come back with new ideas.

Y mientras buscaba esa inspiración, mi tiempo lo he invertido en acumular materia prima para los monederos y neceseres hechos de paquetes de papas. Así que, esta vez, decidí hacer fotos de todo el proceso de elaboración. Creo que sólo de esta manera podréis imaginar lo laborioso que es este proceso hasta que se convierte en un monedero, neceser, carpeta, etc.

And while I was looking for that inspiration, I invested my time in gathering raw material for the coin purses and wallets made out of potato chip bags and candy wrappers. So, this time, I decided to take pictures of the whole process. I think that just by doing that you could imagine how laborious this process is until it turnes into a coin purse, a wallet, a portfolio, etc.

En esta primera foto, como habréis podido observar, están los paquetes extendidos completamente y en ellos ya están dibujados los rectángulos de 8 x 4 cm necesarios para el siguiente paso.

In this first picture, as you could have seen, the packages are fully extended and it is already drawn in them the 8 x 4 cm rectangles needed to the next step.

En esta segunda foto podéis ver que los paquetes están ya cortados en rectángulos de la medida anteriormente mencionada y ordenados por colores.

In this second picture you can see that the packages are already cut into rectangles of the aforementioned measurement and sorted by colors.

El siguiente paso es el de doblar los rectángulos. Por escrito es un poco díficil de explicar pero podría hacer un resumen simple diciendoos que se dobla por la mitad dos veces tanto a lo largo como a lo ancho.

The next step is to fold the rectangles. The written explanation is a little bit difficult, but I could make a simple summary by telling you that it has to be folded in half twice both lenghtwise and widthwise.

Este es uno de los últimos pasos: unir los rectángulos doblados unos con otros creando tiras en forma de zig zag. Una vez que tengo las tiras que quiero, se trata de unirlas unas con otras dándoles forma para hacer el modelo deseado.

This is one of the last steps: putting together the folded rectangles one to each other to create zig-zag strips. Once I have the zig-zag strips that I want, I just have to put them together again to make the desired model.

Cambiando de tema, no me quiero despedir sin antes enseñaros uno de mis últimos diseños. Esta vez se trata de un tarjetero personalizado que me encargó una classmate de Inglés y, os puedo asegurar al ver su reacción que quedó encantada con el resultado.

Changing the subject, I don't want to say good bye without show you one of my latest designs. This time it is a customized card holder ordered by an English classmate and, I can assure you by seeing her reaction that she was delighted with the result.

Edición Limitada/Limited Edition

Holaaa!! ¿Teniais ganas de volver a saber de mi? Bueno, pues aquí estoy de nuevo con lo que os prometí. Y es que, por fin, vais a poder ver más de cerca los diseños de la colección de Edición Limitada y lo que es más importante, vais a poder comprarlos. Me he dado cuenta que, sin haberlo planeado, el día en el que pongo a la venta mis productos coincide con el famoso #BlackFriday tan típico en EEUU. Así que, ¡animaos a comprar!

Hello!! Were you looking forward to hear from me? Well, here I am again with what I promised to you all. Finally, you are going to be able to see the designs of the Limited Edition collection more closely and, more importantly, you are going to be able to buy them. I've realised that, without having planned it, the day that I put my products for sale coincides with the famous #BlackFriday that is so typical in the U.S. So, do not hesitate to buy!

Como sabréis ya, la colección se llama Edición Limitada precisamente por eso, porque todos y cada uno de los diseños son únicos e irrepetibles. Todos estos monederos han podido ser diseñados gracias a la larga recolección de papeles y a la paciencia mientras esperaba tener suficientes papeles para poder crearlos.

As you already know, the collection is named Limited Edition exactly for that, because each and everyone of the designs are uniques and can't be replaced. All these coin purses have been designed thanks to the long compilation of papers and to the patience while I was waiting to have enough papers to be able to create them.

En un principio la colección se componía de 6 diseños (5 monederos y una cartera de mano) pero, como podréis ver en las fotos siguientes, dos de ellos ya han sido vendidos. Y es que después de verlos en el Lookbook, no pudieron esperar hasta hoy para comprarlos.

Initially, the collection was made up of 6 designs (5 coin purses and 1 clutch), but as you could see in the pictures below, two of them have already been sold. The reason is that after seeing them in the Lookbook, they couldn't wait until today to buy them.

Así que, os dejo que echéis un vistazo a todos los modelos y decidáis cual (o cuales) os gusta más.

So, I let you to have a look at all the models and decide which one (or ones) you like more.

Lookbook Edición Limitada/Limited Edition Lookbook

Hola de nuevo!! Sé que no es viernes todavía, pero no me he podido resistir a compartir con vosotr@s el resultado del segundo lookbook, llamado Edición Limitada. Éste es un lookbook muy especial porque los diseños que en él os enseño son únicos e irrepetibles (como se puede deducir por el título) y, además, porque las fotos (hechas por Miguel López) fueron realizadas en un entorno incomparable: la ladera del castillo de Xàtiva.

Hello again!! I know that it's not Friday yet, but I couldn't resist to share with you the result of the second lookbook, called Limited Edition. This is a very special lookbook because the designs that I show you are uniques and can't be  replaced (as you can guess from the title) and, besides, because the pictures (made by Miguel López) were shot in a unique environment: the Xativa's Castle slope.

Todos los diseños los he combinado con un look casual y con un look más rockero, para que veáis lo bien que quedan tanto para el día a día como para la noche.

I've combined all the designs with a casual look and with a rocker look, so you can see how nice they look whether you wear it to the day-to-day or to the night. 

En esta primera parte veréis los diseños combinados con el look casual. No os entretengo más, espero que os guste...disfrutarlo!!

In this first part you'll see the designs combined with the casual look. I don't keep you any longer, I hope you like it...enjoy it!

Y aquí empieza la segunda parte en la que los diseños de edición limitada los combino con un look rockero (más de noche).

And here starts the second part where the edition limited designs are combined with a rocker look (or night look).

¿Qué os ha parecido? ¿Os ha gustado? Espero que sí porque este viernes, por fin, van a estar a la venta. Decidiros por el que más os guste y sed rápidos el viernes porque el primero o la primera que me mande un mensaje en Facebook o un email pidiéndome el diseño deseado, será el que se lo llevará.

Diseños para hombres/Designs for men

Hola! ¡El tiempo vuela y ya es viernes otra vez! ¿Qué tal vuestra semana? La mía ha estado realmente ajetreada, aquellos que me conocéis personalmente sabréis porque... 

Hi! Time flies and it's Friday again! How was your week? Mine has been really busy, those who know me personally would know why...

Después de hacer un montón de diseños, el otro día me dijo un chico: "¿y para los chicos qué?". También dio la casualidad que a mi padre se le rompió su monedero y me dijo: "pues en lugar de comprarme uno nuevo, ¿por qué no me haces uno de los tuyos con las imágenes que elija?". Así que, he abierto un nuevo campo de trabajo. 

After making lots of designs, the other day a guy ask me: "and what about boys?". It also happened that my father's coin purse broke and he told me: "well, instead of buying a new one, why don't you make me one of yours with the pictures that I choose?". So, I've opened a new field of work.

Mi padre quiso que en el monedero aparecieran los logotipos de su empresa y como veréis a continuación, este es el resultado.

My father wanted that in his purse appeared his company logos and as you'll see below, this is the result.

Después de hacer el monedero de mi padre avisé al chico que quería saber si hacía diseños para hombres y le dije que si. Así que no se lo pensó dos veces y me encargó uno con el logotipo de la marca de su coche. Pero a los cinco minutos recordó que el equipo de fútbol local va a jugar en una competición muy importante y quiso que en su monedero apareciera el escudo de este equipo. Aquí tenéis el resultado...

After making my father's coin purse, I talked to the guy who wanted to know if I made designs for men and I said yes. So, he didn't think it twice and ordered me one with the logo of his car brand. But, five minutes later, he reminded that the local football team will play a very important competition and he wanted that in his coin purse appeared the team's emblem. Here you have the result...

¿Recordais que os dije que iba a hacer el lookbook de la colección de Edición Limitada? Bueno, pues finalmente, la fría tarde del miércoles mi amigo y fotógrafo Miguel López y yo fuimos a hacer el shooting. Como la próxima semana voy a hacer un post especial en el que podréis ver todo el lookbook, solo os voy a enseñar este avance que veis a continuación...

Nuevos modelos/New models

Hola, hola!! Aquí estoy de nuevo y como dice el título del post, os traigo modelos nuevos. ¿Conoceis el dicho "En casa del herrero, cuchillo de palo"? pues eso me pasa a mi. Siempre estoy haciendo diferentes diseños para vender y luego resulta que llevaba todavía el primer tarjetero que me hice cuando estudiaba en la universidad. Os podéis imaginar que después de 7 años el pobrecillo estaba pidiendo una renovación a gritos.

Hello, hello!! Here I am again and as the post title says, I bring you new models. Do you know the saying "the shoemaker's son always goes barefoot"? that happens to me. I'm always making different designs to sell and then it turns out that I was still carrying the first card holder that I made to myself when I was studying at university. You can imagine that after 7 years the poor card holder was asking loudly for a renovation. 

Así que me puse a rebuscar en las carpetas del ordenador y encontré esta imágen de Mickey Mouse (que veréis a continuación) y pensé que encajaba perfectamente con el formato para el que la quería utilizar: mi nuevo tarjetero!! Para darle un toque diferente, he utilizado hilo rojo ya que junto con el blanco y el negro, son los colores característicos de este personaje. Personalmente, estoy muy contenta con el resultado :)

So I started to check my computer folders and I found this Mickey Mouse picture (that you'll see below) and I thought that it fit perfectly with the format for which I wanted to use it: my new card holder!! To give it a different touch, I used red thread considering that together with white and black, are the characteristic colors of this character. Personally I'm very happy with the result :)

Cuando estaba buscando imágenes en el ordenador, encontré otra que también me encantó. Como no me decidía entre la de Mickey y esta, renové también el otro tarjetero que me hice hace apenas un año xD. En este caso este es un tarjetero como el que habéis visto en este post: con capacidad para 14 tarjetas. Sin embargo, el anterior, el de Mickey tiene capacidad para 2 tarjetas (Yo éste lo utilizo para llevar la tarjeta de crédito y el DNI porque resulta muy útil cuando tienes que pagar con tarjeta y enseñar el DNI).

When I was looking for pictures on the computer, I found another that I loved too. As I couldn't decide between Mickey's picture and this one, I also renewed the other card holder that I made barely a year ago xD. In this case this is acard holder like the one you've seen in this post: with capacity for 14 cards. However, the previous one, in which appears Mickey it has capacity for 2 cards (I use this to carry the credit card and the ID card because it is very useful when you have to pay by card and show the ID)

Y finalmente os quiero enseñar otro adelanto de un modelo que he añadido a la colección de EDICIÓN LIMITADA. Se ha quedado tan bonito...que había pensado quedármelo yo...pero no, tranquilos que estará disponible para la venta :)

And, finally, I want to show you another preview of a model that I have added to the LIMITED EDITION collection. The result is so great that...I had thought to keep it to me...but no, keep calm because it will be available for sale :)
