Aniversario y vuelta definitiva/Anniversary and definitive back

Hola a todos de nuevo!!! Regreso definitivamente cuando se cumple un año de la creación de Patri Rocks, tras haber resuelto unos problemillas técnicos que me impedían la edición de las fotografías de mis diseños.

Hello everybody again!! I come back definitely now that is going to be the first anniversary of Patri Rocks, after having solved some technical problems that didn’t allow me to edit pictures of my designs.

Estad pendientes durante esta nueva temporada porque voy a incluir algunas creaciones que he realizado en el campo del diseño de interiores, así como del diseño gráfico (aunque, aquellos que me seguís en Facebook habréis podido ver un pequeño adelanto).

During this new season stay tuned because I’m going to include some new creations that I’ve made in the interior design field and also in the graphic design field –although, those who follow me on Facebook could have seen a small preview.

Regreso para mostraros unos diseños que mi profesora de inglés me pidió el curso pasado (si, lo sé…voy con retraso L) y que espero que os gusten.

I come back to show you two designs that my English teacher ask me to create for her last year –yes, I know…I’m delayed L- and I hope you like them.

En primer lugar, veréis una versión ligeramente diferente de la cartera negra de la colección de edición limitada del pasado año. He dicho que es una versión porque no es completamente negra sino que va en degradado desde el negro hasta el gris.

First, you’ll see a slightly different version of the black wallet from the last Limited Edition Collection. I’ve said that it is a version because it is not completely black but it goes from black to gray creating an ombre effect.

Y por último, aquí tenéis un anillo en color rosa fucsia hecho de bolitas de azabache, fotografiado junto al (también hecho a mano) embalaje típico de Patri Rocks.

And finally, here you have a fuchsia pink delica ring, pictured next to the –also handmade- Patri Rocks typical packaging.

Nuevos diseños/New designs

Hola de nuevo!! No me olvido de vosotros, así que aquí estoy de nuevo con aires renovados!! Ya se que vuelvo un poco tarde pero, más vale tarde que nunca ¿no? Creo que la tardanza ha merecido la pena porque os voy a poder enseñar nuevos diseños en los que he estado trabajando últimamente.

Hello again!! I haven’t forgotten you, so here I am again with new airs. I know I came back a little late but, better late than never, right? I think that the delay has worth it because I’m going to show you new designs I’ve been working on lately.

Primero quiero enseñaros un nuevo modelo de tarjetero. La novedad reside en el estampado: cientos de triángulos de diferentes tamaños y gran variedad de colores que hacen que parezca un mosaico.

First I want to show you a new cardholder model. The innovation lies in the pattern: hundreds of different sizes of triangles and a great variety of colors that make it look like a mosaic.

A continuación os enseñaré mi primer conjunto de anillo y pendientes triángulo con estampado. Su dueña quería un conjunto que se pudiera combinar con diferentes tonos de pantalones vaqueros. Es por eso por lo que jugué con la mezcla de los colores blanco, negro y azul marino, para que se pueda combinar tanto con vaqueros oscuros como con claros.

Now, I’ll show you my first set of triangle ring and earrings with pattern. Its owner wanted a set that could be mixed with different shades of blue jeans. That is why I played with the mix of white, black and marine blue, to combine with both: dark and clear jeans.

De vuelta en el blog/Back to blog

Hola de nuevo!! Cuánto tiempo sin actividad en el blog…pero por fin ha coincidido que tengo tiempo para actualizarlo y que estoy inspirada para escribir. Así que, aquí estoy de nuevo, dispuesta a enseñaros algunas de las cosas que he diseñado durante este último mes.

Hi again!! It’s been a long time with no activity in the blog…but finally it has coincide that I have time to update it and that I’m inspired to write. So, here I am again, ready to show you some of the things that I’ve designed during last month.

Lo primero que quiero enseñaros es un conjunto de anillo y pendientes en blanco y negro hechos con delicas. Este conjunto no fue un pedido en sí. A ver, me explico, a una compañera de clase le gustaron unos pendientes hechos por mi que le enseñé por foto. Le dije que también se podía hacer el anillo a juego, pero no había encargo en firme. Sin embargo, decidí hacer el conjunto de todos modos porque si finalmente no lo quería…me lo quedaba yo, jajajaja!! No fue esto lo que sucedió, de hecho le encantó y suyos son ahora.

The first thing I want to show you is a set of a ring and a pair of earrings in black and white and made out of delicas. This set wasn’t a formal order. Let’s see if I can explain myself, a classmate of mine liked a pair of earrings made by me that I showed her in a Picture. I told her that I could also make the matching ring, but there wasn’t a formal order. However, I decided to make the set anyway because if she finally didn’t want it…I was going to keep it to myself, hahaha!!! It wasn’t that what happened, in fact, she loved it and they are hers now.

Pero…aquí no acaba la historia. Mi compañera de clase no se lo pensó dos veces y le regaló el conjunto a su suegra. Entonces ahora, como no tiene conjunto, estamos las dos en pleno proceso de diseño para hacer otro igual pero con colores diferentes. Asi que, cuando esté finalizado, os mostraré el resultado de la nueva creación.

But…here is not where the story ends. My classmate, without second thoughts, gave the set to her mother-in-law. So now, as she doesn’t have any set, the two of us are in the designing process to make another one but with different colors. So, when it is finished, I will show you the new creation’s result.

Creo que este tipo de bisutería no os la había enseñado nunca en el blog, por eso voy a explicaros de que está compuesta. El anillo está compuesto por cinco bolitas forradas, a su vez, con delicas. Lo particular de este anillo es que las bolitas que lo decoran no están estáticas, sino que van cambiando de posición conforme movemos la mano.

I think I’ve never showed this kind of jewelry in the blog, that’s why I’m going to explain you what’s made of. The ring is decorated with five beaded beads. The particular thing of this ring is, that the beaded beads that decorate it are not static, they are changing their position as we move our hand.

Los pendientes también están compuestos de dos bolitas (por pendiente), forradas  con delicas. Tienen una longitud de 6 cm (aunque, como ya sabéis, eso es totalmente personalizable) que hacen que sean muy elegantes.

The earrings are also decorated with two beaded beads –per earring-. Their length is 6 cm – although as you all know, this is something completely customizable- and that’s why they look so elegant and stylish.

Por último, quiero enseñaros como es el packaging que acompañó a este conjunto. El anillo lo metí dentro de una caja (hecha por mi misma con el cartón de una caja de galletas) forrada con papel de embalar y, por supuesto, con el logo de Patri Rocks. Y los pendientes iban dentro de una bolsita hecha a mano con papel de embalar también y con el logo de Patri Rocks de nuevo.

Finally, I want to show you how was the packaging of this set. The ring was inside of a box –made by me with a box of cookies- wrapped with brown paper and, of course, Patri Rocks logo. The earrings were inside of a brown little handmade paper bag and also with Patri Rocks logo.

Bisutería/Jewelry

Hola!! Ya estoy de vuelta por aquí de nuevo!! Después de unas semanas de ausencia, vuelvo con lo prometido. ¿Recordáis que os comenté que en mi próximo post os iba a enseñar diseños de bisutería hecha con delicas? Como lo prometido es deuda, aquí lo tenéis.

Hello! I’m back here again!! After a few weeks of absense, I come back with what I promised you. Do you remember that I told you that in the next post I was going to show you some jewelry designs made out of delicas? A promise is a promise and here it is.

Este primer anillo es el que le regalé a mi madre por Papa Noel. Lo particular de este anillo, como podréis ver a continuación, es esa especie de “nudo” que une los dos extremos realizados en color negro y dorado.

This first ring is the one I gave to my mum as Santa Claus’ present. The particular thing about this ring, as you’ll see below, is this kind of “knot” that links the two ends made in black and gold.

Este segundo anillo me lo hice para mí misma después de ver una foto de uno parecido que me inspiró. Combinando los colores negro y plateado, lo especial de este anillo es el cruce de las tiras de ambos colores.

This second ring I made it fot myself after seeing a picture of a similar ring that inspired me. Combining black and silver colors, the special thing about this ring is the intersection of both colors strips .

Y para finalizar os quiero mostrar un modelo de monedero cubo que todavía no habíais visto. Se trata de un monedero cubo personalizado con fotografías cuyas medidas son 8 x 8 x 8 cm. Como ya os comenté tanto las medidas como el diseño son totalmente personalizables.

And finally, I want to show you a cube purse model that I think you have not seen yet. It is a cube purse customized with pictures whose sizes are 8 x 8 x 8 cm. As I already told you, both, the measures and the desing, are completely customizable.

Lookbook

¡¡Hola a todos!! Por fin he encontrado tiempo para escribir este post. Y es que entre los pedidos (que en apenas una semana ya tengo tres y que, por cierto, uno de ellos ya lo tengo terminado y listo para ser entregado), mis clases de inglés y mi intento en hacer de comunity manager...no me sobra ni un minuto del día.

Hello to everyone! Finally I found time to write this post. Between the orders -that in a week I have already three, that, BTW, one of them is already finished and ready to be delivered), my English lessons and my attempt to become a comunity manager... I don't spare a minute of the day.

Pero finalmente aquí lo tenéis. Mi primer lookbook!! No se si estará a la altura pero tanto mi amigo y fotógrafo amateur Miguel López y yo lo hemos hecho lo mejor que hemos podido. Seguro que mejoramos en el próximo ya que como se suele decir la experiencia es un grado.

But finally here you have it. My first lookbook! I don't know if it will meet your expectations, but both, my friend and amateur photographer Miguel López and I have done the best we could. I'm sure we will improve in the next one, as they used to say the experience is a rank in itself.

Como veréis en esta primera parte del lookbook combino la cartera, el clutch, la carpeta y la funda de gafas de sol con distintos complementos de bisutería hecha con delicas. No os entretengo más, disfrutadlo!

As you will see in this first part of the lookbook I'm combining the wallet, the clutch, the portfolio and the glases case made out of candy wrappers with different kinds of jewelry accesories made with beads. I don't keep you any longer, enjoy it!

Y aquí empieza la sección de bisutería con delicas. Todas son personalizables. Estoy segura que os gustarán más cuando veais como quedan puestas!

And here begins the beaded jewelry section. All are customizable. I'm sure that you'll like them more when you see how they look when they are worn -in this case- by me.

Me presento: Soy Patricia y por fin me he decidido a convertir mi hobby en la forma de ganarme la vida. Tras años de estar regalando a mi familia y amigos cosas hechas por mí misma, las voy a vender.  Seguramente muchos de vosotros ya conoceis la mayoría de mis creaciones, pero para todos aquellos que esta sea la primera vez que saben de mi (que espero que sean muchos a partir de ahora), aqui os dejo un avance:

Let me introduce myself: I am Patricia and finally I have decided to turn my hobby into the way I make a living.  After years of giving to my family and friends things done by myself, I'm going to sell them. Surely many of you already know most of my creations, but for those that this is the first time you hear about me (I hope will be many from now on), here you have a preview:

¿A que son bonitos estos neceseres/monederos? Pues estan hechos de materiales reciclados, concretamente con paquetes de papas.

Aren't this purses beautiful? Well, they are made out of recycled materials, specifically with potato chip bags and candy wrappers.

Pero no todo iban a ser monederos...también he hecho estuches, carpetas e incluso fundas para gafas!!

But not everything was going to be purses...I've also made pencil cases, portfolios and even glasses cases!!

Bien es verdad que mi hobbie no se queda sólo en lo anterior, también me encanta hacer bisutería con cuentas (bolitas de azabache)

It is true that my hobby doesn't end there, I also love making beaded jewelry

Quizás, en estas imágenes, la bisutería no os llama mucho la atención, por eso pensamos mi amigo Miguel Lopez y yo hacer un lookbook con TODAS mis creaciones. Asi que a la espera de unos mínimos retoques fotográficos, muy pronto podreis ver como lucen cuando se llevan puestas.

Maybe, in this pictures, the jewelry doesn't attract your attention, but that is why my friend Miguel Lopez and I decided to do a lookbook with ALL my creations. So, waiting for some minimum photographic retouching, soon you will see how they look when they are worn by someone.
